Rules and Regulations
Rules on Refunding

Return ticket: It is compulsory for the family to pay for the airfares of the au-pair. The au-pair is required to arrange her return ticket up front to the Netherlands. The family is required to make these payments, with a maximum of €1400,-- to Allstar Au-Pairs. At the end of the au-pairs program she will be reimbursed this money (with a maximum of €1400,--) from Allstar Au-Pairs. If however, the host family or au-pair violate our rules or breach their contract, they will only receive back part of this payment depending on the au-pairs length of stay.

Residence Visa, Insurances, Discount card public transportation: The Host Family is initially paying for these documents. If however, the au-pair chooses not to stay for 12 months, she will be required to pay back 1/12th for every month she is leaving early.

Monthly telephone money, Monthly pocket money: The Host Family will provide the au-pair with a monthly amount of pocket money and telephone money to use on her mobile phone.
If the au-pair chooses not to stay 12 months, the Host family will not continue these payments.

We hope though, that none of these rules will have to be applied and that your full 12 month experience will be one to remember.

* The only exception for the au-pair not having to pay back the money that was invested in her, is when the host family breaches contract and she therefore has to leave earlier than 12 months. In this case, the host family is also required to refund the au-pair her total return ticket.
