To be an au-pair in the Netherlands you must meet the following conditions:

•	Age restrictions: the minimum age is 18 and the maximum age is 26.
•	Length of stay: maximum of 12 months.
•	Language: basic knowledge of the English language is required.
•	Residence Permit: you have never held a Residence Permit in the Netherlands before.
•	Must be serious about this commitment

Au-pairs going to New Zealand and Australia:

•	Age restrictions: the minimum age is 18 and the maximum age is 30.
•	Length of stay: min. 2 months, maximum of 12-24 months.
•	Language: basic knowledge of the English language is required.
•	have never held a holiday visa before in these countries
•	Must be serious about this commitment
•	Have equivalent to NZ $ 3000 and Aus $ 5000 in your account as backup and /or return ticket
